MOOD: MOnitoring Outbreak events for Disease surveillance in a data science context
The MOOD project aims at harnessing the data mining and analytical techniques to the big data originating from multiple sources to improve detection, monitoring, and assessment of emerging diseases in Europe.

OpenGeoHub’s tasks within this project are to organize workshops, hackatons and summer schools, organize the dissemination of produced data, and help develop commercial applications. OpenGeoHub leads the Working Package dedicated to the Communication and Dissemination of the project, managing internal and external communication channels, facilitating events, and disseminating the data and scientific results of the project.
