Processing and visualizing large geospatial data using R, Python and Julia
OpenGeoHub Summer School is an annual event that has been running at various locations in Europe, North America, and Australia since 2010, inviting researchers and specialists in developing open-source software and open data to help others improve analysis and modeling frameworks. The 2023 event is organized in collaboration with the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan (Poland). The Summer School will consist of live presentations and demos by leading R and OSGeo developers, workshops, discussion panels, machine learning competitions, and several social events. This Summer School is a not-for-profit event.
Dates:27 August 2023 – 02 September 2023

The summer school will take place in the modern building of the Faculty of Geographical and Geological Sciences. We have rooms equipped with audio-video facilities that can accommodate 300 people, two halls that can accommodate 150 people, and four rooms that can accommodate 50 to 80 people. There are individual electricity outlets for each seat in the room that holds 80 people. The building has six computer labs, each with 20 workstations, as well as an Eduroam network throughout. Stands for catering, exhibitions, etc., are also available on the premises.
Address: Bogumiła Krygowskiego 10, 61-680 Poznań, Poland
